Experience
I have worked in UX and product design since 2017, across approximately 300 client projects. Since 2019 I have been at Appello, an Australian digital product agency: UX/UI Designer until 2021, and Lead UX/UI Designer since then.
The work stays hands-on. I lead client-facing design sessions, research industries I do not already know, map complex processes, and define the information architecture and MVP scope. I then design the wireframes, UI and prototypes, and stay with the work through development. I established shared design standards and provide UX/UI reviews and guidance to four designers.
Most of that practice is complex B2B and internal software: SaaS, finance, construction, manufacturing, healthcare and operational systems, including AI-assisted products where a person still makes the decision.
How I work
Agency work usually starts messy: an unclear brief, an industry I have not worked in, and a team that needs something buildable. I find the structure, design the experience, and stay close enough to delivery that it can actually ship.
I use AI for domain research, early exploration and faster prototypes. It shortens the path to a working direction. The product decisions, and the final interface, stay mine.
